Incidents of National Disaster Utoeya

Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said the shooting incident in Utoeya is a national disaster. "The tragedy of violence experienced by Norway after World War II," he said at a news conference.
Utoeya is a small island in the region west of the capital, Oslo. The distance is about 40 kilometers. "It is heartbreaking to me that every summer since 1974, visiting there," he said.

Until now, identified 84 people were killed in a shooting by a man named Andres Behring Breivik, a right-wing extremist. At that time, was held overnight youth Norwegian Labour Party. The victims were mostly members of the youth party. "Within hours, the camp became like hell," said Stoltenberg.

While Stoltenberg planned to meet the survivors and families of other victims. Norwegian flag still flew at half mast because of the violent incident.
