Arsenal striker Robin van Persie, acknowledged that his new colleagues, Gervinho, will be the new star of "The Gunners". Nevertheless, he said the players from the Ivory Coast will take several months to get together with the team and showing his best game.
Gervinho recruited from Lille for a fee of 11 million pounds. Not mentioned in detail how many years the best players this Cote d'Ivoire in 2011 will join "The Gunners".
"I know Gervinho of the French League highlights. I saw Gervinho played several times for Ivory Coast. I also spoke with Emmanuel Eboue and he says something positive about Gervinho," said Van Persie as reported in the official club website.

When asked about the situation of Fabregas, Van Persie replied: "It would be very difficult (for me if he goes). We have a close relationship. He's a special player. He can think faster than others I hope he will stay and we could play together more long time. "
